Summary
SVG to Image does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any data. There are no analytics, no tracking, no accounts, and no network requests of any kind.
How the extension works
SVG to Image converts SVG files to PNG or JPG images. All processing happens entirely on your device, inside your browser:
- Files you open never leave your computer. They are read locally, sanitized locally, rendered locally, and saved locally.
- The extension makes no connections to any server — not ours, not anyone else’s.
- Nothing is written to persistent storage. When you close the extension tab, everything is gone.
Permissions
The extension requests a single browser permission:
- downloads — used solely to open the “Save As” dialog when you export a converted image, so you can choose where to save the file. It is never used for anything else. (On Safari this permission is not used; the standard browser download mechanism applies instead.)
The extension has no access to your browsing history, open tabs, or the content of websites you visit.
